This device causes motor-car construction, namely – wheel antiskid devices. The nearest analogues are blocks, made of chains or cables, what wrap around the drive wheel. But there are some lacks: appearance of vibration, disbalance, what have a bad influence on running gear of vehicle, also there is a possibility of wheel surface damage and formation of unwanted sounds. But the main lack is that during utilization of chain or cable blocks wrapped around the wheels, there is small touch area of the wheel and surface of road, what prevents increasing of cross-country abilities.

Purpose of invention – to create a simple and reliable device for wheel, what can increase touch area of wheel and road and at the same time improve cross-country ability. Put purpose may be reached due to utilization of device, made on a base of caterpillar put on drive wheel and fixed by the sectional mechanism of rollers, what increases touch area with paving.



At pic1,2,3 showed device construction, that consists of caterpillar 4, blocks of thrust rollers 2, support shafts 5, stretch rolls 8, distance pieces 9 and springs 6. Wheel antiskid device works thus. Caterpillar 4, made of rubber on metal or textile cord basis, put on a drive wheel 1. In the bottom part between wheel and caterpillar on the both sides, simultaneously each to other, fix in the blocks of thrust rollers 2, that consist of support shaft 5 and stretch roll 8, based simultaneously, to which distance pieces 9 connected in a form of tubes.
They connected with one side to blocks of rollers and have different diameters for longitudinal moving in each other. Spring 6 used for providing of stable tension of caterpillar 4 with blocks of thrust rollers 2 in cases when wheel 1 of vehicle is above the road coverage, or surmounts obstacles.
For additional protection from caterpillar 4 falling away and its stable rotation around wheel 1, stretch rolls 8 have cylindrical form with stepping forward edges, that fit into grooves 3 from inside part of caterpillar 4.
The wheel 1 supported with support shafts 5, stretching the caterpillar 4 due to weight of vehicle and stretching rollers 8, what based simultaneously with support shafts 5 in one block 2, but on-the-miter concerning road surface.
Limitation of movement of driving wheel 1 on a support roller is necessary to prevent caterpillar 4 falling away.
For it, support rollers have cylindrical form with stepping forward edges on the sides.
Wheel 1, rotating, set in motion caterpillar 4, what moves around the wheel 1 and stretching rolls 8 and set in motion the vehicle.
Utilization of wheel antiskid device`ll reduce accident rate at winter period and increase cross-country abilities of vehicle.
