World cosmonautics actually walked up to the new stage of it`s development, projects of interplanetary piloting flights are created. New residents of space stations (farther SS) – space tourists. But realization of such project is restraining with absence of tools, needed for artificial gravity creating. To some degree this is a reason of lucidity, how to organize interplanetary expeditions. In Korolyovs time there was an idea to create artificial gravity using revolving torus. But there were few problems on a way to realize the idea. They are – revolving surface, unsafe closure of revolving and immobile parts, problems during docking with such construction. Till the present tense, existed some primitive analogues such as: “running track” and “short-radius centrifuge”. Their use, with medicine addition, during flights to Mars, would be pitiless in order to cosmonauts, which have already passed sufficient fatigue test. Patented “Module” fundamentally changes psychological and physiological conditions of cosmonauts and tourists residence on the SS. Rational configuration of “Module” took off all technical problems that existed before, and it turned out, that it`s name cannot reflect all fullness of it`s abilities. Unfortunately there no it`s own SS in Ukraine, but the module can be successfully used in the course of international space projects, for example, buying out private owner`s patent. The realization of the patent would not only heave up an image of Ukraine, but allow “Module” to become an order to produce it at “Yuzhmash”, also it can be used for engineering design documentation development at “Southern” design office. Especially since experts of NSAU (National Space Agency of Ukraine) came to conclusion that “possibility of real “Module” creation is being beyond questions”. The modules construction is collapsible, convertible and outwardly immobile. On an axial view, the places of connections are marked with double lines. It`s external part has toroidal form. It`s immobility plays important role during outputs in the open space, external equipment mounting and it`s servicing. The most important is that assembling just immobile sections – provides module with safe closure. In the center, axial, Central lock compartment (farther CC) is situated. It communicated with a torus through radial and transversal compartments. Immobility of CC is important for docking.
The torus assembled from lineal sections, it simplifies technology of their making. Assembling them, using several pieces with a 180* turn, they are folded by a direct pipe. This is important for transporting to the orbit. Delivery of sections and compartments of “Module” realized purposeful or in passing, but in determined consecution. CC is brought to the working state on the Earth, that is to say that all the interface attachments and locks must be working, and the “windows” of radial compartments connection must be closed with an ability to open them when the “Module” will be assembled. CC, docked to the transport, the first is delivered to the operating SS, and connecting to SS by the 2nd interface attachment. After transport undocking, SS will be ready to accept next transports using an interface attachment of already connected CC. There is a place near interface attachment, provided to plant manipulator for assemblage and unloading. Then delivered and set radial and transverse compartments. A torus going the last, it is assembled and connected to transverse compartments using manipulator. After “Module” assembled it filled by air, and it`s impermeability is tested, then crew can proceed to inside works without space-suits. Some sections of the torus have “windows” on their sides meant for other sections connecting, for different equipment placing, and some of them may be used for the reception of the delivered loads. Cross compartments may include outlets to the open space. Cabins rotation (rooms of different purposes) is carried out in torus, like in closed tunnel, with what harmless artificial gravity is created. This construction has some advantages. Large and comfortable space can admit a lot of equipment and numeral crew in the “vicinity” of weightlessness and gravity. With all this going on, the crew can walk in the module using light space-suits. Rotating system has series of unexpected decisions and for the present they`ll stay as know-how. Already mentioned that CC has two interface attachments. When it is considered that interplanetary expeditions supposed to make up on near-earth orbit, presence of two interface attachments allows to carry out different maneuvers during redocking. Also there is an ability to dock modules in a line, with comfortable communication inside and their portability at the same time, that may provide operative actions and security in conditions of off-optimum situation on interplanetary direction.
